I was born in Magnolia Park, Ca. (now part of Burbank) to Anna Mae and John Cresswell.  My mother was born in Emporia, Kansas, my father Londonderry, Ireland. My father said that the nurses always new that I was his child when he came to visit, he had red hair and I was the only baby with red hair.

Both of my brothers have brown hair like our mother, I was the one that got the freckles and red hair like our father.  I also believe that my complexion is lighter than theirs and I get the sunburns more easily.

I graduated high school in June 1964 and began working shorly after that.  I married my husband the following May,  we had 33 1/2 wonderful years together.  During our marriage we had three children two of them lived, a daughter and a son, and five wonderful grandchildren, six if you count a half sister of the two youngest grandaughters.  My son married a wonderful girl in 1988, her name is Mary.
