I have five beautiful grandchildren, my daughter has three girls and my son has two boys.  They are from the ages of 14 down to age 4, everyone of them brings me such joy.  The grandchildren have a way of bringing back your youth and making you feel younger and able to do anything.

Nichelle Marie is the oldest, she was born on March 28, 1986, in Panorama City.  My daughter and her boyfriend were staying at my house and I had the pleasure of driving them to the hospital the morning that she was born, we didn't get there with a lot of time to spare.  She is only one that has an olive complexion in the family and will get a tan every summer. Nichelle's father is Puerto Rican and that is where she gets the olive complexion..

John Henry was then next one that was born, he was named after two of his great grandfathers on his fathers side.  He was born on January 28, 1988, in Panorama City at the same hospital that Nichelle was. John has the same complexion and hair color as his father did as a child, looking back at some of his baby pictures I see a lot of his father in them.

Justin Peter came next he was almost an anniversary present, he was born on May 14, 1992.  We were not around for his birth as we had gone to Catalina for our anniversary, but had a wonderful surprise when we came home.  He is the only grandchild with red hair, but he gets it naturally, his mother has red hair and his father a red beard.

Hannah Josephinne
was next, born on November 7, 1993.  Her mother had some trouble during the pregnancy and had lost her water, this meant that it was a dry birth.  She stayed in the hospital for about a week for observation, she was also a little early.  Hannah has suffered with Asthma for several years of her young life.  She is a very shy little girl, but once you get to know her she is a sweetheart, she has the cutest dimples when she smiles.

Last but not least is Summar Breeze born September 9, 1995 she is not the least bit shy, such a change from her sister.  Hannah and Summar both have the same father and he is from the Philippine's, but both of the girls have taken more after their mothers side.
